Letters of John Pendleton Kennedy [manuscript], 1856 and 1867.

In a letter, 1867 August 29, to Hurd and Houghton, Kennedy thanks his publishers for a copy of "Occasional addresses and the letters of Mr. Ambrose on the rebellion," and requests copies of three other books be sent to him in Paris. There is also an 1856 November 10 railroad pass for a Mr. Bester signed by Kennedy as President of the Northern Central Railway Company.
